BRUT — Concept House

BRUT

Located in the majestic Altai Mountains, BRUT — Concept House is a vibrant example of contemporary architecture, harmoniously integrated into the wild natural landscape. The project features monolithic forms and panoramic glazing that reflect the surrounding environment, creating a powerful dialogue between the rugged terrain and modern design. Its secluded mountain location offers breathtaking panoramic views and a tranquil, atmospheric setting, emphasizing unity with nature and a sense of peaceful solitude.
The house is organized across three levels, each carefully zoned for specific functions. The lower level is dedicated to relaxation and recreation, with a sauna, a swimming pool offering panoramic mountain views, and technical/service rooms. The main level comprises the public spaces, including a spacious living room, kitchen and dining area, a bar zone by the fireplace, and a master bedroom suite. All rooms are oriented toward the picturesque landscape. A cantilevered volume situated on the roof of the second floor houses a minimalist office and a small library, accessible via a separate staircase hidden behind mirrored partition structures on the second level. The uppermost level features a carport and the main entrance area. All functional zones flow seamlessly into one another, emphasizing the unity and fluidity of space between the interior and exterior environments.
